By purchasing admission, you agree to these terms.

This is a PG-13 rated event, and there is absolutely no nudity or lewd conduct.

Due to the nature of this event, this is an 18+ only party. If alcohol is served, government-issued ID\’s will be required for admission.

Please abide by any lawful directive of the KCFur Staff or Security. We are here to make sure your event goes as smoothly as possible, and your cooperation is paramount to the event\’s success. KCFur Staff and Security pledges to be courteous and respectful; in return, be courteous and respectful to us.

You may receive a refund up to two weeks before the event. The last day for refunds is October 13, 2012. Tickets purchased after this date are non-refundable. Please contact us if you need a refund.

Alcohol & Illegal Substances

Zero tolerance rules for everyone’s safety.

KCFur does not tolerate underage drinking. If you are over the age of 21, you will be fitted with a wristband. Your wristband must remain unaltered and around your wrist at all times, no exceptions.

KCFur does not tolerate the use of illegal substances. If anyone attending KCFur Howl! is found using illegal substances, they will be asked to leave without being offered a refund. If they refuse to leave, they will be referred to the local authorities. We do this for everyone\’s safety and fun.

Harassment & Assault

No means no. Stop means stop. Go away means go away.

KCFur takes harassment VERY SERIOUSLY. Please contact a member of KCFur Staff if you are having a problem; we have the right to remove attendees from the party for violating its harassment policy. Harassment is any behavior that intentionally annoys or alarms another person. This includes unwanted physical contact, following someone in public areas without legitimate reason, or threatening physical harm.

Photos and Videos

Use common sense with your camera.

Photography and videography for the purpose of sale or publication to the press is expressly forbidden unless written permission has been obtained from MAE, LLC. Individuals may take pictures or videos for personal, private use ONLY. We ask that attendees be courteous to those that they wish to take pictures of, especially if photos and videos are to be posted onto an Internet archive. Please listen if someone asks you to remove photos in the future. Do NOT photograph anyone who does NOT wish to be photographed.

Attendees should be aware that photos and videos made by staff for the official website may be used on the website, and attendees may appear without compensation. If a photo or video is posted on the KCFur Howl! site that you do not wish to be posted, please contact the web admin for removal. Videos or pictures may be removed solely at our discretion, only after specific request listing each video/image to be removed.

Prohibited Items

When in doubt on whether or not you can bring something, please contact us directly.

Due to potential damage to property, water guns, silly string, and similar products are prohibited.

If it looks like a real gun in any way, shape, or form, it does NOT belong at KCFur Howl!.

There should be no live steel or whips being wielded in any area of the party. If a bladed weapon or whip is part of your costume, please have it peace bonded.

This Code of Conduct was adapted from similar events, and would have not been possible without the help of Florida Fur\’s Furloween Conduct page or Further Confusion\’s convention Code of Conduct policies.
